There will be a total of 6 artists participating in the competition, divided into 3 rounds, each lasting 25 minutes. Only the blank 18" x 24" canvas provided may serve as the surface for the finished work. Easels will also be provided. It is the responsibility of the artists to provide their own materials, paint and tools. In case oil paints are used, only odorless mineral spirits or Gamsol are allowed as solvents. If you have any doubts about a specific material, feel free to reach out for clarification.

While reference images are acceptable, they are not mandatory. Pre-made collages and the use of stencils are prohibited, but the creation of stencils during the competition is acceptable. The audience will judge and vote for the top artwork in each round, with the winner(s) proceeding to further rounds and events.

To simplify the voting and purchasing process, we will be using a traditional raffle ticket system.

With the purchase of admission, each attendee will receive 3 raffle tickets of different colors, one for each round. Participating artists recieve these tickets free of charge. This will serve as both the individual's vote and a chance to win the painting at the end of the night.

For those who would like to increase their odds of winning, additional black raffle tickets can be purchased. Please note that these extra tickets will not count as votes.

In summary, there are 4 types of tickets:

Red: Round 1 Voting/Raffle

Blue: Round 2 Voting/Raffle

Yellow: Round 3 Voting/Raffle

Black: Raffle ONLY (not included with admission)

Each artist will receive 50% of the value of the raffle tickets that go towards their painting(s).
