SQUIGGLE #1, created in collaboration with two other artists, merges our unique styles into a single dynamic composition. The balance of order and chaos is achieved through various techniques, including drips, scraping, whimsical patterns, and textured patches. The colors were chosen spontaneously, creating an improvised and conversational feel.

While working in my loft in Western Avenue Studios, we had the mental and physical space needed for creative collaboration. We frequently engaged in thoughtful dialogue, often stepping back to evaluate and make collective decisions. Although the seriousness of our dialogue around this piece, the intention was always play.

The ongoing discussion among the group was crucial in shaping the piece. Our goal was to evoke a sense of shared playfulness and creative spontaneity. In doing so, we hope to inspire viewers to embrace their own creativity through collaboration.
